The Mobicam AV has received a mixture of reviews with quite a quite a number them being quite negative. Many people have commented that they like this baby monitor system include a camera and a monitor to enable the parent to look at the baby in its crib. One reviewer commented that the camera’s night vision was very useful to see if her baby’s eyes were open and required his mommy’s attention.

However a significant number of reviewers have commented that while they like that the Mobicam AV comes with a camera the picture is sometimes not clear because of interference. One reviewer commented that the she saw static on the monitor and had to move the receiver around to positions where it wouldn’t interfere with other devices. Another commented the interference problems were a not resolved even when she unplugged her cordless phone and wifi.

A number of people have commented that  when using the Mobicam AV the sound that comes from the monitor is not clear because of interferance. One reviewer commented that if you get the monitor more than 15 feet away from the camera it buzzes, snaps, and hisses. Another reviewer commented after about six months of use the monitor made a loud permanent buzzing sound whenever she turned the volume on regardless of where it was placed.

Many people have commented that they were disappointed the Mobicam AV baby monitor had poor battery life even though it was powered by a lot of batteries, 6 AA  batteries for the display unit. While an ac adapter could power the units many people found this arrangement to be inconvenient.

The Mobicam AV has quite a quite a number of negative reviews. The baby monitor has numerous good features however in practice many people have found the quality of the picture and sound on the monitor to be poor because of interference from other household appliances.  Battery life is also poor when using this baby monitor and it can be very expensive to keep buying batteries to replace the ones that have run out. Unfortunately because of the numerous issues that have been raised by the reviewers we do not recommend you to buy the Mobicam AV and ask you to look at our website for alternatives.
